Fun Activities in Green Bay This October

Green Bay has many things to doAre you looking for fun new activities to do in Green Bay this October?  Yes, it’s football season. Beyond that, you may not be aware that from sports to history, arts to nature, and casual to fine dining, Green Bay has much to offer. Plenty of Activities to do in Green Bay

Besides football, the other thing to do in Green Bay is to check out our local museums.  Green Bay has a rich and interesting history. The Neville Public Museum has a collection of historic neon signs that used to be displayed along highways and storefronts. The National Railroad Museum and the Automobile Gallery are two museums that showcase the development of locomotives over a century. Last but not least is the Heritage Hill State Historical Park. It is an open-air museum with 50 acres of living history. Fall color in Wisconsin is fully underway, and there are plenty of fun tours, scenic drives, and hikes in the area worth seeing this fall. For the football fans, there are of course plenty of activities to do this October, including self-guided tours and the city trolley tour. The Packers Heritage Trail is the perfect place to start if you really want to understand the importance of football to the city of Green Bay.

Hinterland is a brewery and a restaurant next to Lambeau Field on Lombardi Ave. Badger State Brewing is inside the Stadium District, and is always filled with fellow Cheeseheads, even during away games. The Stillmank Brewing Company’s Wisco Disco has received the US Open Beer Championship gold medal two years in a row in 2014 and 2015. The Noble Roots Brewing Company is one of the newest craft breweries in Green Bay, and is definitely proving itself worthy of a visit.
