See the Fall Foliage in Green Bay

Fall Foliage Green BayFall has firmly descended upon us in Green Bay, and the stunning display of fall foliage is well under way in the city of green and gold.  It was evident last weekend with a packed Lambeau Field that Green Bay’s football season is here to stay for the next several months. Though the Packer’s are wonderful and we take every opportunity possible to talk about them and support them, there is truly so much more to Green Bay than the cheeseheads that tailgate at Lambeau Field. If you’re in town for upcoming Packers games, don’t miss your chance to enjoy the other side of Green Bay as well.  To take part in this year’s exquisite fall foliage display in Green Bay, book your room at our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast today.

Where to See Fall Foliage

Green Bay is a nature lover’s paradise.  With so many parks and green spaces to enjoy, it’s easy to get outside and enjoy nature during the crisp but colorful fall months.  Peak fall foliage season in Wisconsin starts in the North and works its way south, usually starting in mid-September and peaking by mid-late October.  To get a firsthand glimpse of nature’s splendor in Green Bay, spend a day walking the trails of beautiful Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.  It is not only the largest park in Green Bay, but it’s the second largest wildlife rehabilitation program in Wisconsin.  It’s a wonderful place to visit at any time of year, but hard to beat during the beautiful fall months when the vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows are on full display.  Other places to enjoy these beautiful fall months are the East River Trail, the Fox River State Recreational Trail, the Mountain Bay State Recreational Trail, the Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, and UWGB’s Cofrin Arboretum.
