Frequently Asked Questions
Any guest staying at the Astor House, whether booking directly or through OTA (Expedia, Booking.com), is expected to be aware of and honor all of our policies.
Can I purchase a gift certificate for a future stay?
Yes. You may purchase a gift certificate through our website or call us at 920-432-3585 to make a purchase.
When is the best time to call for information or to make a reservation?
The best time to call the innkeeper is between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Calls made to the Astor House after that time usually go to voicemail.
Can we request an early check in and/or a late check-out?
Our check-in times are typically between 4 & 6pm. Between check-outs and check-ins we’re impeccably preparing your suite so it’ll be just right for your arrival or we may be away on errands. On occasion we’re able to honor an early check-in with a pre-arranged appointment time and a $25 Convenience Fee. Keeping check-outs timely is important in order for suites to be properly prepared for next guests. We ask that all guests check out no later than 11:00am after enjoying their leisurely morning at the Inn.
Do any of your rooms have two beds?
Our rooms have one bed, either a queen or a king. The rooms are suited to comfortably accommodate two people. The Hong Kong Suite has a futon that can be made up as a twin bed. A third guest in the Hong Kong Suite must be arranged in advance with your Innkeepers.
Do you have any smoking rooms?
No. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted 15 feet from the building in the parking lot or on the grounds.
I want to stay for my wedding night but we won’t be able to arrive until very late. Can you accommodate us?
Many couples choose to spend their wedding night at the Astor House and we love to be a part of the start of a new marriage. We creatively work with couples to complete the check-in process on the wedding day with the help of family or a wedding party attendant. If that’s not possible, we’re happy to accommodate a very late check in. We ask that an estimated arrival time is provided.
May we bring 2 cars when we stay at the Astor House?
We have off street parking behind the house to accommodate only one vehicle per guest room. Occasionally we can accommodate a second vehicle if we have a guest who doesn’t need a parking space or if we don’t have a full house. We’re not able to determine that until check-in time. So, if you’re bringing two cars, please visit the following website for nearby long-term parking ramps in the event we can’t accommodate a second vehicle Greenbaywi.gov/Parking-Ramps-Lots
Is Internet access available?
Yes. All of our rooms offer free wireless high speed Internet access.
May I have breakfast in my room?
Yes! Breakfasts are offered in the parlor, on the front porch (if weather permits) and we also offer to deliver your full three-course breakfast to the door of your suite. Upon check in we’ll go over the next day’s menu and ask you where and when you’d like to enjoy the home-cooked morning meal. (We’ll also ask if you have any special dietary needs or perferences.)
Do you serve lunch or dinner?
No. As a bed and breakfast, we are only able to serve breakfast and only to our guests.
