September is High Time for Harvest Fest and Brew Fest

September is also harvest season around Green Bay. You can find plenty of fresh produce at the farmer’s markets in Green Bay. Best of all, several wineries are hosting harvest festivals.  It’s a great opportunity to taste their wine, enjoy good food, and perhaps stomp some grapes. Costumes are optional. For beer drinkers, Brew at the Zoo on September 14 and Rails and Ales Brewfest on September 16 are two events that highlight craft beer and local foods for good causes. For the serious craft brew enthusiasts, the Northeast Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival will take place in Green Bay on October 7. Save the date!

Many Great Outdoor Events in Green Bay

September in Green Bay is also one of the best time for outdoor events. igNight Market is a traveling night market with local artisans, performing art shows, food and drinks. Their last market day this year will be on September 16 in the Broadway District in downtown. A few days later, on September 21, is the 20^th anniversary of Taste On Broadway. If you are a regular to this event, you will need no further introduction. It’s the best place to sample local restaurants, which offer guests bite-size samples ranging from $1 to $5.
