Planning for Fall Activities in Green Bay

Fall Activities Green BayFall has firmly descended upon us in Green Bay, and fall activities are well under way in the city of green and gold.  It was evident last weekend with a packed Lambeau Field that Green Bay’s football season is here to stay for the next several months. Though the Packer’s are wonderful and we take every opportunity possible to talk about them and support them, there is truly so much more to Green Bay than the cheeseheads that tailgate at Lambeau Field and make the Packers a part of their everyday life. It doesn’t matter whether you choose to celebrate future Packer victories or whether you’d rather spend your time enjoying the other facets of Green Bay’s culture.  We know one thing for sure:  There are a tremendous variety of fall activities in Green Bay that will keep you busy and having a wonderful time.  To take part in this year’s celebration of all things fall, book your room at our historic Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast today.

Fall Activities in Green Bay

Judging from some of the fun and popular events that happened throughout September, such as the Bellin Women’s Half Marathon, Gallery Night, and the Fall Harvest Fest at Parallell 44 Winery, the fall activities in Green Bay will not disappoint.  The month of October will feature plenty of Halloween-themed fun from around the city.  You can always count on Green Bay’s NewZoo and Adventure Park to be a fun outing, but October brings both a pumpkin carving contest and the Zoo Boo back for even more fun.  For even more family friendly fun, join the National Railroad Museum on a trip to the pumpkin patch aboard the Great Pumpkin Train.

Fall Activities Green BayGreen Bay is a nature lover’s paradise, with an abundance of parks not rivaled in most metropolitan cities, so getting outside is perhaps one of the favorite fall activities here in Green Bay. October is a fantastic time to spend a day walking the trails of beautiful Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.  This beautiful park is not only the largest park in Green Bay, but it’s the second largest wildlife rehabilitation program in Wisconsin.  It’s a wonderful place to visit at any time during the year, but hard to beat during the beautiful fall months when the vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows are on full display.  Other places to enjoy these beautiful fall months are the East River Trail, the Fox River State Recreational Trail, the Mountain Bay State Recreational Trail, and UWGB’s Cofrin Arboretum.  The city of Green Bay is an extraordinarily beautiful place, but is especially magical during the fall.  Book your room at our historic Green Bay Bed and Breakfast today, and make a plan to enjoy the exciting fall activities up here.
