Green Bay: A City Defined by Football, or Something Else?

Green Bay Packers Football GameIt is no secret that Green Bay loves the Packers. The city is filled with fantastic fans, some who come from far and wide to watch their team play. The reason is not just because it has brought back the Lombardi trophy four times. It is also because of a special relationship between the team and the community. The Packers are the only professional sports team in the country to be owned by shareholders. There are 363,948 owners, many of them live in greater Green Bay. As a result, the Packers are rooted in here. If you find yourself wondering why there is a 955 year waitlist for season tickets, you need to visit Green Bay and pay homage to Lambeau Field. Take a tour of the stadium. It will excite anyone, not just football fans. So make your reservation at Astor House for your next visit to Green Bay. We are just ten minutes from the stadium! Wisconsin’s Craft Breweries

Wisconsin Green Bay craft breweriesIf you’re at all into drinking beer, then you probably have heard of the craft brew craze taking over taps across America.  Craft Breweries, which are defined by the Brewers Assocation as “small, independent and traditional” breweries, have seen a 15% increase in sales over the course of last year.  Though annually craft breweries only produce about 6-million barrels, which is a mere 10% of national beer sales, it’s hard to deny the popularity of these increasing local fixtures.
